Pinnacle Advisory Group, a private wealth management and RIA firm, has named Michael Kitces a partner of the firm.
Kitces, the firm’s director of research, joined Pinnacle Advisory in 2002, and has made a name for himself as one of the industry’s most influential writers, authors and speakers on financial planning concepts. Kitces is co-author of The Annuity Advisor, and is a contributor to Financial Planning magazine, as well as a string of major consumer publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Money.
In 2010, he was awarded one of the industry’s highest honors, the Heart of Financial Planning, from the Financial Planning Association.
