Jeffrey Davis will leave State Street Global Advisors to become Rockefeller & Co.'s CIO, it was announced last week.
Davis has been CIO for State Street's Global Fundamental Strategies Division for nearly five years. The division managed more than $4 billion in institutional assets and advised $18 billion of high-net-worth assets. He had been with State Street since 1992.
Davis has also earned a name for himself as a commentator who has appeared on Wall Street Week and CNN Financial News. He has spoken publicly about international investment issues, particularly matters regarding Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Rockefeller & Co. manages roughly $4 billion in assets for individual Rockefeller family members, foundations, endowments and other families worldwide.
