Rydex Global Advisors, the investment advisor of the Rydex Funds, has hired two senior executives, thereby completing the firm's management team, Rydex announced last week. Philip Nicolaou was named national sales manager of the registered investment adviser channel. Wayne Cobb was named vice president chief technology officer.
Nicolaou most recently served as senior vice president of business strategy at Schwab Institutional, where he worked from 1990 until 2001. He will report to Louis Foran, Rydex's executive vice president of sales and marketing.
Cobb joins Rydex from Thomson Wealth Management, an affiliate of MFMN publisher Thomson Media where he served as vice president, technology. .
