Scudder Investments, the US retail brand for Deutsche Asset Management, has announced two executive appointments. David Edlin has joined the firm as national sales manager and Elizabeth Clapp as head of relationship management for the broker/dealer and banking channels.
Both Edlin and Clapp will report to Jon Baum, the recently appointed president and CEO of Scudder Distributors [see MFMN 8/19/02].
Edlin joins Scudder from Putnam Investments, where he served most recently as managing director and head of European distribution of both retail and institutional products.
Clapp was previously with Liberty Funds Distributor, most recently serving as managing director of the firm's strategic sales group.
