SEC Hires Former T. Rowe Price Counsel

Paul Roye, director of the division of investment management at the SEC, announced that former T. Rowe Price counsel Nancy M. Morris brings needed mutual fund expertise to new post in his unit.

Morris has joined the SEC in a two-year term as an attorney fellow working in Roye’s division. Morris, a former vice president and associate legal counsel in T. Rowe Price’s domestic and international adviser units, has been tapped to bolster the SEC’s widening array of industry probes.

Roye called Morris’ mutual fund expertise an asset. "We are pleased that Nancy has joined the division. Her knowledge and experience in the investment adviser and mutual fund areas will be a valuable asset to us as we address the many challenging issues before the Commission in the investment management area."
