Securities America Names Anderson Head of Financial Institutions

Securities America has hired Mike Anderson as first vice president of financial institutions and business growth.

The position is a newly created one, and Anderson will oversee Securities America’s financial institutions division serving banks and credit unions. He also will assist with relationship management, business growth, and mergers and acquisitions, the company said in a statement.

Before joining Securities America, Anderson was vice president of development and executive coach for Leadership Resources, a management development company. Anderson had held a string of high-level positions at financial services firms, including having been president of Accutrade, a subsidiary of TD Ameritrade Holding, as well as TD Ameritrade itself. He was also president of InfoUSA, a direct mail marketing list manufacturer, and a principal at Charter Hill Partners, a regional mergers and acquisitions firm, the company said.
