eSecLending, a global securities lending manager in Boston, has named Karen O'Connor its CFO. eSecLending, which is majority-owned by London-based Old Mutual, provides multiple-manager securities lending programs to mutual fund families, public and corporate funds and other major institutional investors around the world.
In her new position, O'Connor will oversee the firm's financial strategy and personnel.
O'Connor joins eSecLending from Fidelity Investments. Most recently, she served as VP of operations for the Fidelity's telecommunications start-up venture.
Before moving to Fidelity, O'Connor was COO of CyberTrust Solutions, an Internet security start-up company that was acquired by Baltimore Technologies during her tenure. At Baltimore, she oversaw U.S. operations and M&A activity.
