Some Firms Re-Open Money Market Funds

T. Rowe Price Associates, Delaware Investments and Huntington Bancshares Inc. announced today that they have re-opened their money market funds and have made them available for purchases and redemptions.

The Delaware Cash Reserve, the firm’s single money market fund, and T. Rowe Price’s eight and Huntington’s four money market funds were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as a result of Tuesday’s tragedy.

"We recognize that many of our clients use money market funds for important financial transactions, so we want to assure investors that they will have access to their money funds regardless of whether the equity markets are open or not," said James Riepe, a T. Rowe Price vice chairman, in a statement.

Equity and bond funds remained closed today.
