Gartmore Funds has named Steven P. Sorenson senior VP and national sales director to oversee the activities of the firm's external wholesalers and help them build relationships with financial consultants. The company has also appointed several regional sales directors.
Werner William Stubblefield will serve as VP and regional sales director for the firm's central region. In addition, Damon Bryant was named regional sales director for the Midwest south region, Grant Hayes for the west coast north region and Scott Clark for the south region.
Sorenson was previously senior VP and national sales director for Delaware Investments, and prior to that post, he served as national sales director of the financial planning channel and director of the fee-based group for Morgan Stanley/Van Kampen.
Stubblefield was the former regional sales director for Conseco Fund Group, where he was inducted into CFG's Hall of Fame as a charter member. Prior to CFG, he served as VP and financial consultant for Smith Barney. Bryant, Hayes, and Clark also worked for CFG as regional managers and directors before joining Gartmore.
