Summit Brokerage Services hired Glen McRary as an executive vice president, chief business development officer, the firm announced Monday.
McRary will be responsible for managing the Boca Raton, Fla.-based independent broker-dealers advisor recruitment and transition efforts.
Glen has a proven background in broker-dealer recruiting and implementing best practices for advisors transitioning their practice, Summit chairman and CEO Marshall Leeds said in a statement. We are excited to have him as a new member of Summits management team and to assist us with expanding our broker dealer network.
McRary has served as a broker-dealer executive for the last 20 years, most recently as vice president, director of recruiting, at Symetra Investment Service. Prior to that, he was senior regional director of Securities America and co-founder of the NEXT Financial Group, where he was also vice president of business development.
