Sun America Will Hold Essay Contest

Sun America Mutual Funds of New York is holding an essay contest at a Brooklyn, N.Y. school and plans to send one of its portfolio managers to the school to talk about investing.

The contest is being organized by Sun America and the New York Yankees and will be open to fifth- through eighth- grade students. Four finalists will be invited to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to receive a $250 award in June.

Sun America Mutual Funds will also donate computers to the school.

The essay must address two questions: "Why is saving for the future important?" and "What could you do today about planning for your future?"
