The deal allows the 3,000 TD Waterhouse financial advisors to choose from ten T. Rowe Price funds for their clients without a transaction fee.
"The ability to access these funds without a transaction fee is a significant benefit for advisors and their clients," said Thomas Bradley, president of TD Waterhouse Institutional Services.
The T. Rowe Price Advisor Class funds include: Blue Chip Growth, Equity Income, Mid-Cap Growth, Science & Technology, International Stock, Small-Cap Stock, Small-Cap Value, Value, High Yield and International Bond. The funds are also sold through Salomon Smith Barney (see MFMN 06/12/2000).
TD Waterhouse Group currently services 3.1 million active accounts worldwide. T. Rowe Price and its affiliates managed $158.6 billion in assets as of June 30.
