TD Asset Unit Hires UBS to Advise Fund

TD Asset Management, the investment arm of TD Bank Financial Group in Toronto, announced Wednesday that a Canadian unit of UBS Warburg will advise its international equity fund.

The TD International Equity Fund is currently advised by Schroder Investment Management North America Inc. UBS Global Asset Management Canada, a Toronto institutional asset manager, will put the change into effect Aug. 15.

TD Asset Management manages $20.96 billion of retail mutual fund assets on behalf of more than 1.4 million investors. In total, it manages $77.64 billion for mutual funds, pension funds, corporations, institutions, endowments, foundations and high-net-worth investors.

UBS Canada delivers institutional investment services through offices in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and Vancouver, and it manages assets of $17.65 billion.
