StanCorp Equities has appointed Jennifer Giampaolo as a pension consultant for its Orange County Retirement Plans Office, responsible for retirement plan sales in Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. She will also serve Arizona and New Mexico.
StanCorp Equities distributes group annuity contracts issued by Standard Insurance Company.
Giampaolo has worked in the retirement plan services industry for 14 years. Prior to joining The Standard, which is also the marekting name used to identify SanCorp, she served as a regional vice president for Transamerica Retirement Services. She also previously worked as a director of sales at The Principal. A spokesperson for Transamerica told that: "Ms. Giampaolo’s position is in the process of being filled.”
"I have known and worked with her for many years and she is well-respected in this market,” stated Niki Green, regional pension manager for The Standard's West sales region. “Her wealth of knowledge and experience will be a valuable resource for retirement plan advisors."
