Two Former Merrill Teams Join Snowden Capital Advisors

Snowden Capital Advisors has added two advisor teams, the DiCiaccio Group and the LaMothe-Gonzalez Group.

John DiCiaccio, managing director of DiCiaccio, and Leah Thomson Snell, vice president, DiCiaccio, have become Snowden partners, the New York City based wealth manager announced Tuesday. Jon LaMothe and Luis Gonzalez, managing directors of LaMothe-Gonzalez also became Snowden partners.

Both teams come from Merrill Lynch and bring with them over 100 years of total advisory experience. The DiCiaccio Group is ranked in Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors list. The teams manage more than $500 million of client assets.

“We are excited to have such high quality, ‘culture carrying’ advisor teams place their trust in our firm,” Rob Mooney, managing partner, CEO, and co-founder of Snowden, said in a statement.

The incoming teams chose Snowden due to its business model and its range of advisory services. “We believe Snowden has the breadth of advisory services and support and represents a superior platform for our clients,” LaMothe said in a statement.

Snowden provides a multi-custodian, multi-currency platform, and aggregated performance reporting and leading analytical tools for clients and advisors. It also provides operational, finance, compliance, human resources and advisor transition support to its advisors.
