UBS named Debbie Mittelman as global head of direct execution product management, the company said in internal memo dated Wednesday.
A spokewoman for the company confirmed the appointment Thursday.
Mittelman will be based UBS' Stamford, Conn. and New York offices and will report to Charles Susi, head of direct execution for the Americas.
She brings over 25 years of experience in the securities industry, most recently as director of product for U.S. equities at Lime Brokerage, where she specializing in automated and high-volume electronic trading strategies. Before Lime, she held senior product management roles at Townsend Analytics’ RealTick EMS, SunGard BRASS, Instinet, and Goldman Sachs.
