UBS Snares Gunderson From BofA Merrill

UBS Wealth Management Americas has added Bank of America Merrill Lynch financial advisor Louise F. Gunderson to its midtown New York private client branch.

Gunderson comes to UBS as managing director of investments after serving at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management for six years, where she managed $650 million in client assets and generated $3.6 million in trailing12 month production. Gunderson will report to branch manager Ken Correa.

Gunderson served as managing director of investments at Merrill Lynch. Before that, she served as a senior financial advisor and principal at Bernstein Investment Research and Management and head of private banking at Republic National Bank and Banca della Svizzera Italiana.

Jeffrey S. Embree, who is also moving from Merrill Lynch to UBS with Gunderson, will serve as vice president of investments.
