UMB Fund Services has renamed its Alternative Investment Services division JD Clark & Company, the company said today.

“This rebranding allows us to capitalize upon the strong reputation of JD Clark & Company, a name that has become synonymous with operational excellence in the alternative investment industry over the last 20 years,” said John Zader, CEO of UMBFS.

UMB acquired the Utah-based JD Clark & Co. in May 2009 and has been consolidating its systems and processes. As part of the consolidation process, JD Clark & Co. will handle the entire alternative investment servicing division.

“I am proud that UMB Fund Services has chosen to retain the JD Clark & Company brand for its alternative investment services. It is a testament to our associates’ dedication and expertise, as well as the loyalty of our customers,” said Jeff Clark, CEO of JD Clark & Company.
