Alex Kramer joined the bank’s Private Client Reserve unit as a managing director. He will lead a team of 10 advisors, a spokeswoman for U.S. Bank said in an email.

Kramer was previously head of sales for Johnson Bank Wealth Management, where he led sales strategies and teams throughout Wisconsin and Arizona. He has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, according to U.S. Bank.

The new hire follows the appointment last month of Jeffrey Kravetz as regional investment manager for the West region.

The Reserve defines high-net-worth clients as individuals, families and foundations with more than $1 million in investable assets. It is part of U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management Group.
