The new senior management additions will operate as part of an on-going initiative designed to meet the growing need of high-net-worth clients in the main markets across the US. A tenth U.S. Trust employee was promoted as well.

Susanna Yao, a private client manager in San Francisco who managed more than $100 million in assets for domestic and off-shore clients specializing in cash management, will now serve the Asian market outreach and development division at U.S. Trust. Before moving to U.S Trust, she worked in Citigroup’s wealth management unit.
Melody Hom, another San Francisco private wealth manager, joins from
Nancy Barrett, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based private client adviser, joins from
Rod Halvorson, a Los Angeles private client adviser, has more than 25 years of experience. Halvorson joined as an internal appointment from U.S. Trust’s
Pamela Chen, a Century City, Calif.-based portfolio manager, co-managed a $1 billion market neutral equities portfolio in the healthcare, materials and telecom sectors at
Dave Schumacher, an Arizona-based senior portfolio manager previously managed private client portfolios at
José Romero, a Seattle-based senior portfolio manager was a former vice president and senior portfolio manager at
Justin Rolfe, a seven-year veteran who also works in Seattle, is a portfolio manager joining from Wells Fargo Private Bank.
Richard Stice, another Seattle-based senior portfolio manager was recruited from
Judy Milam, who has worked in for U.S. Trust for 24 years in Santa Barbara, Ca., overseeing complex trusts, was promoted to senior officer.
