Rapidly changing technology offers new ways for advisors to connect with clients. That makes it an exciting time to be in business, but it also means it’s critical for advisors to adapt.
It’s time to take your message mobile, says Craig Faulkner, chief executive officer of digital marketing firm FMG Suite.
Advisors should load their smartphones or tablets with brief, interesting graphics and visuals that illustrate investment concepts or other ideas so they can be shared on the go, Faulkner says. “The days of seminars in a conference room are mostly behind us,” he says. “Advisors need to be ready to quickly show prospects and clients the concepts they want to teach in any setting.”
That said, here’s a word of caution from Faulkner: “Make sure all of your mobile devices are synced and that messages play well in any format.”
