The Vanguard Group of Valley Forge, Pa., has introduced an Internet-based financial planner to help investors develop their investment and retirement savings strategies. The planner is located at Vanguard's web site, www.vanguard.com, in the Planning Center section. It helps investors determine an appropriate asset allocation for their goals and suggests various Vanguard mutual funds that can help them achieve those goals. Visitors' information can be stored for up to a year.
