An adviser with $36 million in client assets has left Raymond James & Associates to join Noyes, according to the firm.
Andrew Blackwell brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Noyes, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. He will be based at the company’s Indianapolis office.
Blackwell says he made the move after meeting with Noyes' management, and being impressed with the firm's culture and focus on clients.
Noyes says it hired Blackwell in part to attract new high-net-worth accounts. James Longstreth, market leader at Noyes, cited Blackwell’s “in-depth entrepreneurial knowledge of operating a successful advisory business.”
Blackwell began his career in wealth management in 1984, working alongside his father, Carle, at Moseley Securities, according to Noyes. Nearly four years later he joined Dean Witter and stayed on after its acquisition by Morgan Stanley. Seeking a smaller firm, he joined Smith Barney and left the firm after it, too, was acquired by Morgan. He started at Raymond James in 2010.
A spokeswoman for Raymond James declined to comment on the move.
