As part of its continued growth, Wells Fargo is expected to hire more private bankers and advisors in this region, as well as across the nation, to accommodate the needs of their growing high-net-worth clientele.

In this new role, Humphrey is expected to assist high-net-worth clients by designing updated financial plans to address their wealth demands. Previously, Humphrey worked at HSBC Private Bank where she served private bank clients, advisors and relationship managers in order to create wealth transfer planning structures suitable for the clients’ needs. Before that, Humphrey was part of Citigroup Private Bank where she was involved in developing planning strategies for individual client portfolios.

Ross will focus on high-net-worth individuals and families. He also will identify and choose the most appropriate specialists and solutions to better serve the clients’ complex requests.

He joins Wells Fargo from Neuberger Berman where he oversaw the Washington office. Ross previously worked at Bank of America Investment Services and SunTrust Investment Services, according to FINRA filings. Overall, he has 15 years of experience in the financial service industry.

“The continued expansion of our team at the Private Bank in Washington is evidence of our commitment to providing each of our clients with personalized and exceptional service,” said Susan Traver, regional managing director of Wells Fargo, in a press release. “Their [Humphrey and Ross] considerable experience in providing wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals will be invaluable in helping our clients manage the financial complexity that wealth creates.”
