Wells Fargo Team Joins Stifel Nicolaus

After two decades plus at Wells Fargo Advisors, Kenneth Fortini is joining Stifel Nicolaus as first vice president/investments in the company's new private client group office in Plymouth, Mass.

Ralph Labriola, vice president/investments, and advisor Hicolas DiMenna will join him there having worked in Stifel's Harwich, Mass., office since April.

The team is hoping to bring over the $108 million that they managed at Wells Fargo and will be reporting to branch manager Derek Gage and will help build out the new Plymouth office, the firm's sixth location in Massachusetts.

"We are very excited to continue our expansion in the southeastern part of Massachusetts and are lucky to have assembled a great team of experienced advisors and support staff who appreciate Stifel's client-centric entrepreneurial business culture," Gage said in a statement.

A number of advisors, such as Richard Ward who left from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, have been making moves to regional firms after long tenures at wirehouses.
