Barclays Wealth hired John Cregan as regional manager in Palm Beach, Fla.

Barclays also recruited seven new advisors: James Egan, Michael Reiser and Ria Hart In Boston; George Kolodka in New York; Jamie Weeks III and Hunter Hamm in Atlanta; and Michael Schwartz in Chicago. Combined, the seven new advisors had assets of $2.4 billion and total production of $16.7 million.

UBS hired David Deitch and Tiffany Rosek from Merrill Lynch in Charlotte. Deitch had assets of $130 million and production of $736,000. Rosek had assets of $20.6 million and production of $94,000.
