Merrill Lynch Complex Director Promoted to Market President

A complex manager at Merrill Lynch was promoted to market president for Bank of America.

Hong Ogle received the promotion to serve as the firm's enterprise leader in Houston. In the role, she will coordinate business lines across the region to deliver integrated financial services to individuals, families and businesses. She also will oversee corporate social responsibility work in the market, according to a statement from the firm.

Ogle began her career in 1994, making stops at Dean Witter Reynolds, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley before she joined Merrill in 2010, according to FINRA. She became an advisor in 1995, and has held several management positions throughout the years.

In addition, Ogle has served on Bank of America's local leadership team and represents Merrill's Texas region on the company's diversity and inclusion council. She also has served as a member of Merrill's Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement, the Black Professional Group and the Women's Exchange Wealth Management networking and support group.

In the community, Ogle is involved in the United Way Women's Initiative, and recently served on the board of the American Heart Association in Houston.
