Janus Discussing Brokers
Janus Capital Group is telling the Securities and Exchange Commission about its relationships with brokers. One month after settling with the SEC for $226 million for its participation in improper trading, the Denver-based fund giant is helping the Commission figure out what role, if any, brokerages that sold Janus funds had in the scandal. The company revealed that only 5% of its assets under management are sold through brokers.
