Anne Sutherland is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Benchmark Mortgage in Plano, TX since January 2013. Prior to Benchmark, Anne was Of Counsel to Hudson Cook, LLP and was General Counsel at Nationstar Mortgage LLC for 15 years.Anne is a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Texas and Pennsylvania. She is a frequent speaker on mortgage origination and servicing topics.

Susan Graham is president and chief operating officer of Financial Industry Computer Systems Inc., a mortgage technology specialist that provides cost-effective, in-house mortgage loan origination, residential mortgage servicing and commercial mortgage servicing technology to mortgage lenders, mid-sized banks and credit unions. As president and COO, she is responsible for the overall management of the company’s day-to-day operations, strategic planning, customer relations and product development challenges.

Matthew assists clients with meeting the regulatory expectations of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, including managing unfair, deceptive and abusive acts and practices risk, and building out effective enterprise compliance risk management programs. He also advises clients on a broader range of consumer protection laws including Fair Lending, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Truth in Lending Act (including CARD Act issues), Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. Matthew brings 25 years of substantive financial regulatory experience from senior industry and regulatory levels. Most recently he served as a field manager with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and was the team lead for two of the nations largest banks. As a large bank team lead, Matthew was responsible for developing and implementing a risk-based compliance supervision program specific to each institution. Prior to joining the CFPB, Matthew spent 17 years as a national bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he specialized in compliance. Additionally, he served as a Vice President and Compliance Officer at AmSouth Bank for five years and served as a Senior Loan Review Officer for Compass Bank for two years.

Jennifer Jozity is Safeguard's assistant vice president of inspections operations. Jozity is responsible for all aspects of the inspections service line, including order entry, client relations, regional coordination and operations. She ensures quality work is performed in the field and internally, to meet and exceed our clients expectations. Jozity joined Safeguard in 1997 and was promoted to director of inspections operations in 2009. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in business.

Susan Rusek is the vice president of internal audit at ProVest. Rusek has extensive experience in the banking industry having spent eight years with Bank of America. Her audit engagements were focused on operational areas that included consumer real estate, finance, and staff support functions. Rusek was then selected to lead a two year project in London to employ Six Sigma methodologies around capital markets audits and process improvements. Initially, she started her career working for two public accounting firms in New York for more than eight years. Rusek is responsible for the appropriate planning, execution and reporting of all internal audit activities including operational and financial reviews.

Judy Wheatley is senior vice president, compliance, Indecomm Global Services, a business process outsourcing company with its U.S. corporate office in Iselin, N.J. With 30 years experience in the mortgage industry, Judy is a recognized expert in consulting and fulfillment services to residential mortgage lending clients. Judy received her Certified Mortgage Banker designation in 2003, and her Accredited Residential Underwriter designation in 1993. She has actively served the mortgage banking industry as a governor on several mortgage banker association boards and by teaching mortgage banking courses for education service providers and financial institutions.

Roger Fendelman, Interthinx vice president of compliance, leads the company's compliance department and the PredProtect compliance suite of automated regulatory compliance tools. Roger previously served in the legal department of Nexstar Financial Corporation (acquired by MBNA/Bank of America), where he focused on issues such as federal and 50-state licensing and examinations, loan officer licensing and education, fair lending and predatory lending compliance and legislative review and analysis.

John Cottrell has over 20 years of experience in mortgage banking, with special expertise in default, foreclosure, bankruptcy and compliance issues. Serving as an officer with institutions such as Vericrest Financial, Saxon Mortgage Services, and PlainsCapital Bank (Prime Lending), Cottrell has compiled a successful track record of ensuring compliance and identifying areas for process enhancement. From 2009 to 2011, he managed the contested foreclosure litigation department for Saxon Mortgage, a division of Morgan Stanley.
