    Duf Sundheim has been active in Republican Partypolitics for over 30 years beginning with his service as apage in the Illinois State Legislature at age 18 andworking in the trenches as a campaign advance stafferfor the Illinois Republican U.S. Senate candidate in1974. Duf also had a record setting term as Chairman ofthe Lincoln Club of Northern California.Mr. Sundheim was Chairman (2003-06) of the California Republican Partyduring one of the most critical times in its history. Shortly after Mr.Sundheim was elected in 2003, California had its first recall of a sittingGovernor and elected Arnold Schwarzenegger Governor. Mr. Sundheim'selection itself was historic, as it marked the first time in 38 years theseating Vice Chairman had not been elected Chair. In February of 2005,Mr. Sundheim became the first Chairman in the history of the CRP to bere-elected to a consecutive term. In three years, with the activesupport of Governor Schwarzenegger, the CRP has raised over $100million dollars, an unprecedented figure.Mr. Sundheim regularly appears on national and regional broadcastsincluding NBC's "Today Show," CBS's "Early Show," MSNBC's "Hardball withChris Mathews" and the FOX News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes."Mr. Sundheim received his B.A. in Economics with Honors and Distinctionfrom Stanford University, where he won two letters in football. Hereceived his J.D. from Northwestern University Law School, attendingwith the aid of an Exceptional Student Post-Graduate Fellowship. He isalso a recipient of the California State Bar Pro Bono Award.

  • Tomakin Archambault is the Vice President of Investment in the Global Special Situations Group at SunEdison. His primary responsibility is to match the needs of SunEdison’s investment partners with existing and emerging solar market opportunities to continue to accelerate the mass-adoption of solar power generation.Prior to joining SunEdison, Tomakin managed the investments in the solar and energy efficiency sectors at a private energy investment firm with a 30 year investment horizon. He oversaw the deal analysis, negotiation, and investment management associated with the financing of several early portfolio financings in the commercial and residential spaces. Earlier Mr. Archambault spent two years consulting on high-performance buildings for the Rocky Mountain Institute where he was involved with a number of notable clients including the UNEP, the USGBC, and several large REITs. Mr. Archambault graduated with Honors from the University of Denver with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has an MS in Civil Engineering from Stanford University.

    Raigen Padayachee joined Edward Jones Investment Banking in 2010 and leads the Firm’s underwriting efforts across the higher education and not-for-profit sectors. He has lead managed or been a transaction team member on over $1.5 billion in fixed and variable rate financings for a variety of higher education and other 501c3 issuers including, Gonzaga University, Point Loma Nazarene University, Seattle Pacific University, St. Ignatius College Preparatory, The Colburn School, and the University of San Francisco. Raigen received his M.B.A. from the Haas School at the University of California-Berkeley and a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

  • Rob joined Merrill Lynch in 1980 and is currently Lead Negotiated Underwriter in the Municipal Syndicate Group. In this capacity, he leads the pricing and the syndicate process on transactions in all sectors of the Municipal market. Prior to his current role, Rob was Co-Head of the Public Finance Group from 2001 to 2005 with responsibility for all Municipal Issuers and was manager of the Municipal Capital Markets Group from 1995 to 2001. This group was designed to bring market-oriented solutions to Merrill’s municipal general market, health care, housing and utility clients. From 1986 through 1995, Rob managed the Municipal Derivative Group where he helped to pioneer the Municipal interest rate swap market. Finally, from 1982 through 1986, Rob served as Manager of the Tax Exempt Money Market Underwriting Desk where he priced and remarketed various variable rate and fixed rate money market products. Mr. Barber holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington & Lee University.

    Jodi Hecht is a director in the Utility & Infrastructure Group in Corporate & Government Ratings. As the Sector Specialist for Infrastructure, she is involved with all aspects of the Infrastructure practice, chairing rating committees, maintaining and creating criteria, assigning new credit ratings and conducting surveillance on existing ratings for infrastructure projects, including stadiums and arenas, public private partnerships, and convention center hotels. Additionally, Jodi developed criteria for public private partnerships, stadium and arena facilities and convention center hotels. Jodi is actively involved with credits in the sectors. She was the lead analyst for bids on the Puerto Rico toll road concession, Long Beach Courthouse, Port of Miami Tunnel, Indiana Toll Road and the Chicago Skyway Concession. Jodi follows entertainment credits and is the lead analyst for several stadiums and convention center hotels in the US. Prior to joining the Utilities and Infrastructure Group, Jodi was a senior analyst, working on infrastructure projects in the Local and Regional Government Group in the tax-backed, utility and transportation groups. Before joining Standard & Poor’s in 1993, Jodi was an analyst in the Treasurer’s Office for the City of Philadelphia and in commercial banking. Jodi holds a M.G.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and BA from Franklin and Marshall College.

  • Bryant Mitchell is Executive Vice President and leads PNC Public and Corporate Finance. In his role, Bryant directs all PNC’s origination activities, both traditional banking and capital markets, in the government, higher education and 501(c)3 space. He also manages PNC’s metals, mining and national large corporate businesses. Bryant has led PNC Public Finance since 2005. He joined PNC in 1981, serving in various capacities in the Corporate and Institutional Bank; prior to assuming his present roles, he was Credit Executive of PNC Capital Markets.Bryant earned both a BA in economics and an MBA from The Ohio State University.

    Jose Vera has 14 years of public finance experience and over his investment banking career, he has negotiated numerous bond issues for public agencies in California and Nevada. Jose's public financing experience includes land-secured / development finance, utility enterprise revenue finance, general obligation bonds and lease revenue financings for cities, counties and special districts. Jose is the Vice President of the Rotary Club of Los Angeles, one of the largest community service clubs in the United States. Jose earned his degree in Economics and a Minor in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and maintains FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Jose serves on Stifel's internal Credit Review Committee tasked with reviewing all non-rated and below investment grade municipal bond issues prior to sale.

    Tamara is a senior consultant with the Financial Risk Management group in the Chicago office of Milliman. Her prior experience includes several years at an international reinsurance company, where she worked in all areas of product development, including product design, pricing, reserving, and filing. Since joining Milliman in 2004, Tamara has led a number of high-profile variable annuity hedging and product development initiatives in continental Europe. She has specific experience in adapting the variable annuity concept for use in alternative markets, and a significant breadth of understanding of taxation and regulatory issues that affect variable annuity designs in Europe.Tamara has supported the development of a number of sophisticated derivatives-based financial risk management applications for insurance companies, including such topics as the use of quadratic programming techniques to enhance hedge performance and approaches for modeling risk-based capital reduction associated with hedging programs.Tamara is a CFA Charterholder and was recently nominated (1 of 17 worldwide) for the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association's Professional Risk Manager of the Year award. She is proficient in German and French.
