Jeremy Bornstein leads the Payments Innovation group at RBC, one of the world�s leading financial institutions, where he is responsible for developing and executing products and strategies to defend and grow the bank�s retail payments business. Prior to his current role, Jeremy was the Managing Director of Corporate Strategy for RBC responsible for outlining the bank�s strategic direction for the board of directors. Before joining RBC, Jeremy was a Senior Manager at Accenture where he led the Canadian Financial Services Strategy practice. He holds a MBA and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degrees from The Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario. Jeremy is also a director of a not-for-profit organizations focused on youth and community engagement.

Adam Shapiro is Chief Control Officer for BBVA's Open Platform.� Previously, Adam led Promontory Financial Group’s FinTech practice, working with digital currency firms, online payments companies, innovative lenders, banks and traditional firms implementing new financial technologies, and technology service providers to the financial services industry.� At Promontory, Adam helped numerous financial services startups, traditional financial services institutions, and service providers to financial institutions develop the controls needed to build scalable compliance and risk management programs that meet their regulatory obligations.�Prior to joining Promontory, Adam served at the U.K. Financial Services Authority, where among other roles he led the Retail Risk Team, developed the FSA’s Treating Customers Fairly and Product Risk Framework initiatives, served as Private Secretary to the Chairman, and developed U.K. policy on hedge funds.

Louie Gasparini is an entrepreneur-in-residence at BBVA, working on identity related efforts for the financial services company. He has been with BBVA since 2015.Gasparini experience in identity spans many years, beginning with the start of the internet. In 1996, while with Wells Fargo, he oversaw the first online banking experience offered by a major bank as Senior Vice President ofInternet Distribution Systems.Gasparini then started PassMark Security, a company aimed at user and site authentication. In 2006, Passmark was acquired by RSA, where Gasparini remained as Chief Technology Officer.He then formed a second startup called SafePage, which merged with SafeBank to form Personal Capital, a company disrupting the investment world with on-line tools, personal investment advisers and investment offerings.Gasparini attended the University of San Francisco.

Dr. William Beaver is the Chief Technology Officer and cofounder�of Mirador, a machine�learning and financial technology developer that enables banks and traditional lenders to�produce commercial loans quickly and more efficiently.�Over the past decade, William has researched and built adaptive, selflearningsystems for�bioinformatics, audio classification, video analysis, 1D signal processing, financial engineering,image processing for microscopy, humancomputer�interaction, and scientific computing.�In addition to his research, William has over 15 years of technical and management experience�in software engineering and product development.He oversaw frontend�engineering for retail�brokerage Datek, the pioneer in online stock trading. At Deloitte he designed and managed the�loan origination and servicing system for Federal Direct Student Lending.Mirador technology enables financial institutions to operate a state of the art loan program. The�streamlined borrower experience and digital workflow virtually eliminates paperwork, reduces�preparation costs, and drastically reduces the time needed to underwrite a small business loan.�Predictive risk algorithms apply machine learning principles and rich sets of alternative data to�evaluate and monitor small business loans more effectively and with lower default rates.
