David Miree assumed the position of Executive Vice President for Consumer Deposits and Investments at Webster Bank in February 2015. In this capacity, David steers a network of over 180 Banking Centers spanning across Webster’s four-state footprint. David’s top priority in this role will be to draw on his extensive industry experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities to collectively accelerate sales productivity among these respective teams.Mr. Miree previously served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Santander Bank’s U.S. Retail Network and Small Business Banking, responsible for managing the U.S. retail 725 branch network, small business banking network, training and organizational development, sales process, network sales analytics, and customer experience, among other responsibilities. Prior to that, he served as an Executive Vice President, Regional President for Greater Pennsylvania at Wells Fargo Bank. �He had oversight for the network of branches and was responsible for building and developing partnership between all business lines including wholesale and government banking, community banking, and mortgage and wealth divisions. Earlier in his career, he spent over five years at Chevy Chase Bank (now Capital One Bank) as a Senior Vice President.Mr. Miree holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ohio University.�
