Chris Carver, President of ATG Risk Solutions, has for over 30 years pursued a passion for applying technology to transportation, from telematics to in-flight communications to vehicle dynamics. After four years of leading Liberty Mutual Insurance’s award-winning telematics risk management insurance program, he launched ATG Risk Solutions to bring an open platform for telemetry data to the broader insurance marketplace, and create a fairer way to rate risk using connected-vehicle data. Prior to joining Liberty, he co-founded and led FleetPoint, a web-based fleet management service focused on road data collection.� Chris holds a Masters of Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.� ��

Jay Sarzen is a senior analyst with Aite Group’s P&C Insurance practice. He brings to Aite Group 15 years of experience delivering strategic advice to a wide variety of clients, primarily in financial services.Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Sarzen identified strategic growth opportunities for major insurance carriers, such as The Hartford and MassMutual, and for major financial services providers, such as State Street. Prior to these roles, he honed his strategy skill set as a management consultant in BearingPoint’s Strategy, Process, & Transformation practice. Adam Lyons leads The Zebra team as Chief Executive Officer, combining his insurance industry knowledge and tech startup savvy to give consumers a better way to shop for car insurance.Prior to The Zebra, Adam helped launch Meltwater Press, allowing users to build relevant media lists and efficiently distribute news. Before Meltwater, Adam worked at Lloyd’s of London in Excess & Surplus Lines commercial insurance as an underwriter at All Risks LTD., one of the nation’s largest wholesalers. Adam founded The Zebra in 2012 to simplify insurance shopping. Adam holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Risk Management & Insurance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Adam was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Austin, Texas, where The Zebra is headquartered.Adam has been a key speaker at the Auto Insurance Report National Conference, received the 2014 Empact100 Award at the United Nations, and was named to Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30 list in 2015.

Steve brings 12 years of design and innovation experience to his role as Head of Design, Partnerships at Automatic. Using a design thinking approach, Steve works with strategic partners to create solutions that are viable to the business, desirable to their customers, and can be implemented quickly using Automatic's connected car platform. His goal is to ship products and services that improve the car ownership experience for users and businesses alike.Prior to Automatic, Steve was Director at IDEO, where he built a portfolio of work in transportation and the built environment industries. In that role, he helped companies like Ford, Bosch and Renault build their brand, shape innovation capabilities, and reposition energy and transportation challenges as platforms for growth. He and the teams he led have won several awards for their work.Steve has also designed green building strategies for the US government, digital experiences for utilities, work spaces for workplace products companies, and medical injection devices for pharmaceuticals firms. He holds several patents for his workAfter earning a graduate degree in product design from Stanford University, Steve returned as guest lecturer and adjunct professor. In 2007, he launched a course on sustainable design and periodically teaches at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (the d.school).Steve serves as an adviser to several startups and organizations, and frequently speaks at conferences and other events. His writing has been published in The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, and Rotman magazines.

Shayna started her career with USAA after graduating from Texas State University with a BBA in Marketing. Over the years, Shayna has held several roles at USAA to include P&C Underwriter, Product Analyst, Staff Underwriter, and Senior Staff Underwriter. Shayna has also served as a Business Manager and Subject Matter Expert on a variety of large IT projects at USAA.In 2012, Shayna led the partnership with AT&T's "It Can Wait" campaign and simulator tour that organized strategy, planning, and marketing of 55 face to face events in an 18 month period. To date, the campaign has collected over 350,000 pledges and counting. Shayna also acts as a USAA spokesperson and has worked with USAA families impacted by texting and driving as well as appearing on local news morning shows like San Antonio Living.Most recently, Shayna has been focusing on teen safe driving, leading a large team in partnership with Automatic Labs, to implement USAA's newest teen safe driving program, Automatic License+ in a very short timeline of 6 months.Shayna holds a Masters of Arts in Administration in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Randy, daughter, Catelyn (2012), newest little guy, Colton (2015), and their two, very spoiled yellow labs, Daisy and Duke.

Prior to joining State Auto, Kim Garland was most recently chief product officer at AIG's P&C consumer division, where he led product management, actuarial, underwriting and business analytics for their global personal auto, personal property, personal accident, travel and warranty businesses.� He previously helped lead the restructuring of United Guaranty, AIG's mortgage insurance company, as its chief operating officer and later, CEO.� Before joining AIG, he managed the Personal Auto business at Safeco and also started their innovation company, Open Seas Solutions.� Kim began his insurance career at GEICO, where he held actuarial, product management and customer service roles.� Kim is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a graduate degree from the University of Virginia, both in Mathematics.

Ms. Laura Vail Wooster is vice president and head of Insurance Marketing for John Hancock.� In this capacity, Ms. Wooster oversees a team responsible for advertising, creative services, digital marketing, internal and external communications, product promotions, public relations, and websites for John Hancock Insurance. Her team has won numerous industry awards for their creative marketing campaigns and websites, and in 2015 launched an industry-first life insurance solution with an integrated wellness program in partnership with Vitality.Ms. Wooster has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years across multiple product lines.� Previously she has been responsible for various aspects of insurance marketing, including communications, consumer and producer websites, market research, and innovative marketing programs. Earlier in her career, Laura was a strategic marketing manager focused on new market opportunities. She also served as an account executive in John Hancock’s International Group Program, which provides employee benefits to more than 500 multinational corporations worldwide. Prior to John Hancock, Laura worked for several years in the international division of a large global bank in New York.Ms. Wooster holds an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. She is Vice President� of the Board of the Powers Music School in Belmont, MA; actively supports the United Way, Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund, the advancement of women, and other social causes; and is the mother of two boys.
