Kurt Nelson is a partner at SummerHaven Investment Management where he manages investor relations and product structuring. He was a managing director for UBS until July 2009, where he recently led the successful effort to acquire and integrate AIGs commodity index business. Kurt was a supervisory committee member for both the Dow-Jones UBS Commodity Index and the UBS Bloomberg CMCI Index. In April 2008, he led the effort to launch the UBS exchange traded note platform (E-TRACS). Stephen Huxley is Chief Investment Strategist and Founding Partner of Asset Dedication, LLC. A recognized expert in finance, investing and economics, Stephen has more than 35 years of experience researching and applying decision theory to real world problems. Brent brings more than a decade of financial and investment expertise to his work in applying academic research to the development of practical and innovative portfolio strategies. Brents deep background in empirical finance formed the basis for Asset Dedications modeling and analysis. His work with Asset Dedication began more than a decade ago at the University of San Francisco, where he partnered with co-Founder Steve Huxley to study portfolio performance and the impact of withdrawal rates, inflation, and market conditions. Previously, Brent was a philanthropic advisor working with high net worth families and a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley in Orinda, California, targeting small business owners seeking fixed-income strategies.
