Nigel Marhue is currently the Acting VP, Credit Operations at Rogers Communications, Canada's largest mobile, internet, cable and home phone services provider. He is currently responsible for strategic/business planning and operational performance. The teams reporting into Nigel include credit risk, customer contact and retention strategies, dialer management, call centre operations and agency collections. In his career at Rogers he has delivered several initiatives to automate and control credit and collections decisioning and treatment activities that have effectively managed churn, bad debt and operating expenses while supporting sales and subscriber growth.

With over 30 years in banking operations, Lori Adamski understands the changing landscape of banking. Lori currently is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Conestoga Bank, Chester Springs, PA. She is responsible for the overall operations including deposit services, loan servicing, mortgage and consumer lending, information technology, security, BSA/compliance and commercial credit administration. In 2007, Lori successfully integrated the former First Penn Bank operations into Conestoga Bank creating a 14 branch bank network in the greater Philadelphia area. A member of Conestoga Banks executive leadership team, Lori is responsible for bringing new technology to the bank including online account opening, remote deposit, mobile banking, and mobile deposit. She also led the banks efforts in launching Bankwerx from Conestoga, a retail banking brand with a major focus on technology as a means of service and convenience.Previously, Lori served as Vice President of Operations for New Century Bank, now Customers USA Bank, Phoenixville PA; Vice President of Deposit Operations for Patriot Bank, Pottstown, PA; and manager of Savings Operations with Sovereign Bank (now Santander), responsible for Escrow Servicing, Deposit Legal Services, and Savings System Administration.A 2003 graduate of the ABA Advanced School of Banking, Lori attended Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA where she studied Business Administration.

Louis Freedman is a founding partner and managing member of the collections group at Freedman Anselmo Lindberg LLC, based in Naperville, Illinois, established in 1980. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and The John Marshall Law School. Mr. Freedman is a Past President of the Illinois Creditors Bar Association, having also served as Legislative Vice President, and has assisted them in drafting and passage of key legislation in the Illinois General Assembly. He is a current board member of the Creditors Bar Coalition of Illinois, a group of select firms that manages a robust lobbying and legislative agenda in the Illinois capitol. A charter member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, Lou is the current President and has been instrumental in the formation of the Political Action Committee for Collection Attorneys (PACCA). As a past Chair of the NARCA Federal Governmental Affairs Committee, he worked to establish and maintain relationships with key legislators on Capitol Hill. Lou is a former Chair Arbitrator for the Mandatory Court Annexed Arbitration Program of DuPage County, Illinois. He is a frequent speaker before various Bar and Trade Associations, and has lectured for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Ezra Becker is vice president of research and consulting in TransUnions financial services business unit. He works cross-functionally in risk management and marketing analytics to develop sophisticated, strategic solutions across the spectrum of the consumer lending business. His expertise lies in consumer credit risk management, acquisition and portfolio management strategy, pricing structures, and consumer profitability and growth dynamics. Becker has published several white papers and journal articles on a wide range of risk management and consumer lending topics, and has participated in industry roundtables and conferences as both an expert panel member and a featured speaker. Beckers commentary and analyses have been featured in key industry trade publications and national newspapers, and he has appeared widely on national radio and television programs. Prior to joining TransUnion, Becker was a vice president of Decision Management for Citi Commerce Solutions (CCS), the core private label retail credit card division of Citi Cards, where his group focused on the analysis of acquisition and penetration initiatives, segmentation analysis, store-level employee incentive tests, cardholder retention & loyalty programs, and account-level profit analyses. Before working at CCS, Becker was a vice president of corporate credit risk management in the Strategic Risk Analytics group for Washington Mutual Bank, where his team focused on an array of consumer product analytics. Becker began his career in banking as an assistant vice president of corporate credit risk management at First National Bank of Marin, now known as Credit One Bank, where he developed both statistical credit scoring and financial profitability models for use in target marketing, account acquisition and portfolio management.Becker earned B.S. degrees in both chemical engineering and mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds an M.S. degree in probability and statistics and an M.B.A. with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the American Statistical Association and the Risk Management Association.

Justin Penn focuses his practice in litigation with particular emphasis on professional liability litigation, including consumer litigation and legal malpractice defense. He has also been involved in labor and employment law in both litigation and arbitration practice.Mr. Penn is experienced in many aspects of trial practice, including consumer class action defense for claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. He has handled hundreds of consumer litigation matters under many statutes, including the FDCPA, the FCRA (and FACTA), the TCPA, TILA, state consumer fraud statutes and the False Claims Act. Mr. Penn has also handled a wide variety of legal malpractice matters, including cases involving an attorneys liability to non-clients. In addition, Mr. Penn has experience in complex litigation defending hospitals, corporations and religious organizations. He has defended cases in jurisdictions across the country. Mr. Penn joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as a law clerk and became an associate in August 2004. He served as a summer associate with the Chicago law firm of Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey.During law school, Mr. Penn was a judicial extern for the Honorable Wayne Anderson, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.Prior to his legal career, Mr. Penn spent three years as a travel director for INTRAV, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. Additionally, he worked for NBC Sports in production support for live, televised sporting events around the world, including University of Notre Dame football, the French Open tennis championships and The Championships at Wimbledon. While at Notre Dame, Mr. Penn was on the Deans List for six semesters, was a peer tutor and participated in the Universitys London Program. Mr. Penn is a co-author of Attorney Liability to Adversaries and Other Third Parties, a chapter in Attorneys Legal Liability, published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), November 2007. His presentations include: New Technology and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, Lorman Education Services, audio conference, February 2012. The Ethics of Getting Paid, WestLegalEdcenter, live webcast, March 2010. He is also a frequent speaker on issues such as the 2010 amendments to the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct, an attorneys liability to non-clients and the challenges of multi-jurisdictional practice. Mr. Penn has worked as a volunteer at Hospice House in South Bend, Indiana, and was a peer tutor during his undergraduate work at Notre Dame.
