During the podcast conversation with FP Senior Editor Tobias Salinger, Komarow answered these five questions from FP Senior Editor Tobias Salinger:

1. What is Planning Across the Spectrum?

2. More than 25% of Americans or 1 in 4 have a disability that affects their daily lives, according to the CDC, which notes that the number grows to 42% among Americans aged 65 or older. What are the key components of disability planning?

3. What professional certifications for disability planning are available and which are the most important in your opinion?

4. Our listeners would like to treat their clients and team members with respect and promote a safe and comfortable environment for everyone in their offices and virtual offices. What is important to keep in mind in terms of asking people with disabilities how they would like to be identified and the various methods now available for client and staff meetings?

5. Sometimes as we discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion I think we leave out people with disabilities. Would you agree with that and, in addition to it being illegal to discriminate against people with disabilities, what is the impact when we make people invisible in this way?
