Paul Cummings, Abbot Downing

Paul Cummings joined Abbot Downing, the ultra-high-end wealth management business of Wells Fargo, as regional managing director for the Northeast Region. He oversees the delivery of asset management, banking, planning, trust and fiduciary, and family dynamics services in New York and Philadelphia. Cummings was formerly managing director and head of Channel Management for Merrill Lynch’s Managed Solutions Group.

Garrett Alton, BNY Mellon

Garrett Alton, BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s former managing director of sales for Georgia, was promoted to a newly created role overseeing the firm’s business development efforts and sales teams in the Central and Mid-Atlantic U.S. regions. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2009, Alton was a senior financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, where he focused on business development.
