Bank Reps on the Move
For bank reps looking to advance their careers, theres no better news than a promotion or a new job offer. Heres a sampling of bank reps who were recently promoted or moved to new organizations to assume roles of greater responsibility.
Rob Vickery, BNY Mellon
Rob Vickery joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a sales director in Los Angeles. He is responsible for business development in the Southern California market. Vickery was formerly with Lloyds Banking Group, where he held senior management roles in the wealth and international division.
John Zarchen, BNY Mellon
John Zarchen joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a senior sales director in Los Angeles. He is responsible for business development and identifying opportunities for expanding the firms client base in the Southern California market. He assumed the new role from Wells Fargo Private Bank where for more than four years he was senior vice president and national manager.
Elise Fortin, Umpqua Private Bank
Elise Fortin, a former executive of Wells Fargo Private Bank, joined Umpqua Private Bank to lead its expansion in the Puget Sound region. Fortin has more than 25 years of wealth management experience. In addition to serving as senior vice president at Wells Fargo Private Bank, she held numerous senior business and sales management positions at U.S. Trust, Northern Trust, Key Bank and First Union Bank.
Kenan Aksoz, U.S. Bank
Kenan Aksoz joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit as a wealth management consultant in Minneapolis. He has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry, including co-founding Aksoz Medved, a mergers, acquisitions and management advisory services firm.
Matt Ellison, U.S. Bank
Matt Ellison was promoted to regional wealth planner for the Private Client Reserve unit of U.S. Bank, covering Kentucky, Tennessee, and Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. He works with high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on entertainment and professional sports clients. Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2011 as a wealth management advisor, he was head of trust and wealth planning for RBC Bank.
Steve Kelleher, U.S. Bank
Steve Kelleher joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit as a wealth management advisor in Minneapolis. He was previously with U.S. Trust, where he was a senior vice president and private client manager responsible for the acquisition of new clients and the development of existing relationships.
Jeff Schell, U.S. Bank
Jeff Schell joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit as a trust officer in Minneapolis. He was previously a personal trust relationship manager for the banks mass-affluent business unit, the Private Client Group.
Sam Somuri, U.S. Bank
Sam Somuri joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit as a senior portfolio manager in Minneapolis. He was previously a director at Allianz Life Financial Services, and prior to that, he led the asset manager selection, investment research and relationship management for the $22 billion platform at Jackson National Life.
