Bank Reps on the Move
For bank reps looking to advance their careers, theres no better news than a promotion or a new job offer. Heres a sampling of bank reps who were recently promoted or moved to new organizations to assume roles of greater responsibility.
Jason Ernst, U.S. Bank
Jason Ernst joined U.S. Bancorp Investments, the brokerage affiliate of U.S. Bank, as a financial advisor in Bismarck, N.D. He was previously a financial advisor at Wells Fargo.
Steve Felchle, U.S. Bank
Steve Felchle joined U.S. Bancorp Investments, the brokerage affiliate of U.S. Bank, as a financial advisor in Bismarck, N.D. Felchle was previously a financial advisor at Wells Fargo, and prior to that, served as vice president of business and agricultural banking for Norwest Bank.
Martim de Arantes Oliveira, U.S. Bank
Martim de Arantes Oliveira joined Ascent Private Capital Management, the ultra-high-net-worth wealth management unit of U.S. Bank, as head of the firms soon-to-open office in San Francisco. As regional managing director, he will be responsible for the growth of the new office, which will open this summer. Oliveira was previously with Silver Bridge Advisors in San Francisco, where he was the West Coast regional director responsible for establishing, managing and expanding the firms presence on the West Coast.
Gerald Rixie, U.S. Bank
Gerald Rixie joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit in Chicago as a wealth management consultant. He was formerly the chief financial officer of Calamos Family Partners in Naperville, Ill.
Marc Wiersum, U.S. Bank
Marc Wiersum joined U.S. Banks Private Client Reserve unit as a wealth management consultant in Naples, Fla. He was previously a private client manager at HSBC and Bank of America in New York, where he worked with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Yves Cochez, Webster Private Bank
Yves Cochez, a native of Belgium, was named chief investment strategist of Webster Private Bank. He manages the private banks portfolio management team and sets the overall direction of investment management for high-net-worth clients. Cochez joined the bank from financial investment advisory firm GBS Finance, where he was a partner and served as chief investment officer. Prior to that, he held a number of senior investment positions across the globe with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.
Madorie OHara, Webster Private Bank
Madorie OHara has joined Webster Private Bank as senior investment manager in Stamford, Conn. She manages investment portfolios for Websters private banking clients and works with private bankers to help identify opportunities, pitch new business and directly manage portfolios. She was previously a portfolio manager with Citi Private Bank.
Sharon Klein, Wilmington Trust
Sharon Klein joined Wilmington Trust as managing director of Family Office Services and Wealth Strategies. The former head of Wealth Advisory Services at Lazard Wealth Management is charged with building the banks growing practice in the New York metropolitan region.
