Independent Financial Partners, a Tampa, Fla., based registered investment advisory firm, has launched IFP Insurance Group.
“The launch of IFP Insurance Group is driven by the ultimate goal of providing our advisors with cost-effective access to a broad suite of insurance solutions,” said William Hamm, CEO of Independent Financial. “We are excited to expand our expertise and will continue to find ways to support our network of over 500 advisors.”
The new insurance arm is head by Jayne Alford, a managing director at Independent Financial Partners. Alford is a a strategic marketer and point-of-sale expert in insurance, who has spend her 30-year career creating business development solutions for financial advisors. She is supported by Kelle Schnabel, an insurance services specialist, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and works with advisors to obtain quotes, conduct policy reviews, achieve needed licenses and answer questions.
“Awareness makes opportunity visible. We support each independent advisor with our knowledge and services so that they can offer better choices and deliver enhanced resources to their clients,” Alford said. “It is rewarding to see advisors grow and expand their range of services as a result of joining our network.”
