RBC Wealth Management Adds Advisors With $635M AUM

RBC Wealth Management is expanding its presence in Texas.

The Minneapolis-based broker-dealer announced Tuesday the addition of six veteran financial advisors from Morgan Stanley to its Austin, Texas, office. The new advisors are part of two teams that together have nearly $635 million in assets under management.

RBC's new Austin-based advisor teams include The Lone Star Group and the Marwill Wittek Group. The Lone Star Group includes John Riffle, Patrick Easter, Terry Sherman and Mike Roche. Marwill Wittek Group consists of Tim Marwill and Eric Wittek.

The Austin hires come on the heels of RBC’s recent addition of Thomas Smith, Kelly Kerr and Bob Straight to offices in San Antonio, Fort Worth and Tyler, Texas. RBC now has 12 offices in the Lone Star State.

“The addition of these experienced financial advisors shows RBC Wealth Management’s commitment to the state of Texas and the financial needs of its residents," Andy Teller, the firm’s Dallas complex director, said in a statement.
