RIA Richard Bernstein Advisors Hires Former BofA Merrill Lynch Strategist

Investment management firm Richard Bernstein Advisors has hired the former head of investment strategy for global wealth management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch to be a portfolio strategist.

The new hire, Joseph Zidle, guided investing strategy for almost $2 trillion in individual investor assets in his prior role, according to the firm’s CEO, Richard Bernstein. Zidle and Bernstein previously worked together at Merrill Lynch, when Bernstein was Merrill’s chief investment strategist.

Richard Bernstein Advisors has more than $700 million in assets under management. The firm focuses on longer-term investment strategies and is known for macro asset allocation and style investing strategies. The firm acts as sub-advisor for the Eaton Vance Richard Bernstein Equity Strategy Fund and the Eaton Vance Richard Bernstein All-Asset Fund, and runs ETF asset allocation portfolios at UBS and in separately managed accounts.
