A Wells Fargo team with $116 million in AUM left the wirehouse to join Raymond James & Associates, the firm's traditional employee-channel, broker-dealer.
Advisors Robert Walsh and Travis Jaggers along with client service associate Starr Michelle Epperson joined Raymond James in Louisville, Ky., where they report to branch manager Thomas Hirsch.
The team, now known as Walsh Jaggers Group, generated more than $900,000 in annual fees and commissions.
Walsh started his career in 1995 with Morgan Stanley, according to FINRA records. Jaggers joined Morgan in 1999, and the two advisors moved to Wachovia in 2005, staying through that firm's merger with Wells Fargo.
Walsh said in a statement that they moved to Raymond James because of the firm's culture, marketing support and reputation.
"Several of our peers, whom we respect, had moved to Raymond James and told us how satisfied they were and now, since moving ourselves, we just couldnt be happier," he said.
These recent additions come on the heels of another Wells Fargo team that joined Raymond James in St. Louis. That group, comprised of father-son advisors Erwin and Terry Bry, who managed about $220 million in assets while at the wirehouse.
Walsh studied at Bellarmine University in Louisville. He graduated from Centre College in Danville, Ky.
