A Laudus Fund Liquidates

The Laudus Mondrian Global Equity Inv (LGEQX) fund is liquidating at the end of November, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The fund’s Board of Trustees this week approved its liquidation and will close the fund to new investors as next week on Oct. 2.

The Laudus Group of funds are managed by a group of sub-advisers chosen by Charles Schwab Investment Management. Laudus Mondrian Funds are sub-advised by Mondrian Investment Partners Limited, a London-based institutional investment manager with more than $65 billion under management as of June 30. A spokesperson for Charles Schwab was not immediately available for comment on the liquidation.

As of Sept. 27, the $5 million was up more than 10%, according to Morningstar. It charged an expense ratio of 140 basis points.
