Abrupt Ending for Generations Fund

The Generations Multi-Strategy Fund, a separate series of the Northern Lights Fund Trust, is liquidating after four years of trading.

According to a filing, the fund, which formerly betted on equity securities of large capitalization companies, stopped trading on Nov. 16 and will redeem all outstanding shares on December 14.

The $54 million fund was launched on October 21, 2008 and was managed by Ryan Long. Though Oct. 31, the fund gained 8.23%, according to Bloomberg. It had an expense ratio of 135 basis points.
