American Century Names Fink Chief Operating Officer

Barry Fink, a managing director at Morgan Stanley, will be joining American Century Investments on July 2 as executive vice president and chief operating officer, as well as a trust on the funds’ board.

“Barry brings extensive investment management industry experience to his new COO position,” said Jonathan S. Thomas, president and chief executive officer of American Century. “He’s an extraordinary addition to our seasoned management team and will help American Century harness the collective strengths of the organization in order to accomplish our goal or providing superior investment management services to clients and investors.”

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Fink was an associate attorney with Seward & Kissel.
