American Century Snags Ex-GSAM Sales Exec

American Century Investments has named Joseph Schultz as Head of Intermediary Sales, responsible for the firm’s field and internal sales businesses, including wirehouses, regional and independent advisors, registered investment advisors, insurance company advisors and broker-dealer key account management.

Schultz will report to Peter Cieszko, chief client officer – Americas and will join the company on April 15. Previously, he served as Head of U.S. Broker Dealer Sales and Relationship Management at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

“Joe is a talented leader who brings demonstrated success in leading teams to establish and execute distribution strategy in the intermediary business,” stated Cieszko.
