The American Stock Exchange has selected Iverson Financial Systems to provide ETF portfolio composition information, or information on shares that have to be created or redeemed, to Amex member firms. Amex previously handled this function internally.
Iverson is not the only vendor with which the exchange's ETF data management division, Amex ETF Services, has partnered. "Amex ETF Services provides a variety of value-added services, one of which is the delivery of key ETF data," said Robert Tull, executive director of the division. "We often work with strategic partners to achieve optimal user results. Iverson's experience with portfolio composition information makes it the natural choice to handle the controlled distribution of ETF-related index data."
