Analytic Investors is welcoming back a familiar face. The firm has named George Matthews Head of Consultant Relations and Business Development.
Matthews, who worked for Analytic Investors from August 2009 to August 2012, is responsible for establishing and implementing the firm's strategic direction with respect to investment consultants, plan sponsors and general business development initiatives. Prior to rejoining the firm, Matthews worked for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. Before that, he worked for Wells Capital Management, Wilshire Associates and Banc of America Capital Management.
“George understands the needs of our investors, and he brings a level of knowledge and experience that will serve Analytic very well as an independent firm,” stated Harin de Silva, President of Analytic Investors.

Analytic Investors employs a quantitative investment process in managing assets for institutional and mutual fund investors in the United States, Australia, Europe, Canada and Japan. The firm had approximately $6.2 billion under management as of the end of September.
