Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management, a division of AMVESCAP, has hired Stephen Prostano as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. In addition, Paul Elmlinger has joined the firm as general counsel. Both will report to the firm's CEO, Donald Herrema.
Prostano will oversee the business management and planning for the firm's global division. He previously worked at FleetBoston Financial Corp., where he was an executive VP.
Elmlinger most recently worked at Zurich Scudder Investments, where he was head of the firm's international legal team.
